Two letters and a speech
Don Boudreaux writes to the New York Times on Packaging Insanity while Greg Mankiw goes further and writes to the President to give advice.
On the packaging issue, retired Coca-Cola executive Harry Teasley gives a great speech.

I just wanted to say I enjoyed Harry Teasley's speech. And the bit about how it used to be a rite of passage for a young man to be able to crush a Coke can with one hand reminded me of the days when that was the case with young Kiwi males and beer cans.
