We know that capitalism delivers the goods and socialism has failed to do so. When allowed to, we know that capitalism has increased people's wealth and well being while when tried socialism hasn't. So why is it that socialism managers to inspire so many while capitalism doesn't? Why do people distrust market processes and turn to the state to provide security and stability?
